The most interesting passages and the students love them. Very resourceful!

This book touched my students. They were cheering Marian on towards the end and angry with all the events that could have dampened her spirits. I used this with 3rd graders and we extended the lesson by talking about our own dreams and the barriers that could hold us back. Inspiring!

Each reading selection, as well as, the questions in review are so helpful for my children. Their reading skills have improved steadily. Thank you and keep it up.
