Excellent resource and an idea to introduce the students to the investigation of their families' oral histories.

I'm a relatively new tutor, love the idea of the paired readings as well as some of your other reading and question combinations.

That is cool. I grew up in Berkeley attending California School for the Deaf about a mile away from the campanile. Since I am deaf, I had no idea it rings at 6 pm every night. Nobody told me about it so it was great reading and learning about this fact.
