User Comments

This article ties in with our matter unit. After students build towers they read this article to see how materials are used to build the playground.

I used this lesson with third grade Title I students who struggle with reading. They really enjoyed the text and these questions challenged them, but created some interesting conversations.

Great resource for my multi-age students!

Love the stories, they are a challenge for my second graders. Keep it up:)

Some of the questions were hard for a second grader. But, the text was interesting.
