my kids loved the story

Thank you for creating such great pieces to use for close reading!

I really liked this story. I think it would be an excellent resource to teach students about finding the main idea, setting, plot, problem, outcome or solution, and even better - inference.
I WILL definitely ue these stories in my class during reading class. I choose to model read the first story that's introduced to them and demonstrate using the text and prior knowledge to find the answers. Then I will use the stories in my reading centers to assess their knowledge on the above aspects of the stories. Thanks for a GREAT teaching resource!

Great, thank you!
