Amazing site for me and my students.

Great articles to get students ready for reading test...working with paired texts...next add a third text or other moving towards creating Intertextuals..

Thanks for posting. We already have "intertextuals" called text sets. Text sets are groups of texts that share a common topic, theme, or structure. A text set includes a learning goal, key vocabulary, and questions for each text. It also includes a learning goal and questions for the text set as a whole. For texts that are part of text sets, you can find the Text Set Guide and Questions by clicking on the green "Paired Texts" tab on the passage page. You can also find the other Text Set passages in the "Paired Texts" tab. Here's an example of a text that's part of a text set: http://www.readworks.org/passages/whats-big-idea-about-water-living-things-ecosystems-need-water

really helpful

Thanks for supporting our students with excellent reading exercises in earth science

Good work...

Next week our lessons will be about erosion, deposition, and sediments. This passage is very helpful to my students. Thank you!

I am using these for reinforcement and homework.

would also like some shorter passages with a few questions to send home as homework with 4th grade students. Thanks

Excellent for monitoring progress. You can break down questions and compare results over time. Helps to fine tune what and how you instruct.
